REALTOR® Profile
Chuck Murney
My career in Real Estate started in 2007, with a switch to join RE/MAX in early 2010. RE/MAX has been a great fit for me, working side-by-side with numerous agents that provide a wealth of knowledge and experience to collaborate with. Along the way I have gained a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the finer points of the Real Estate industry and everything tied to it. Touring with clients and selling lakefront cottages and homes in and around Parry Sound, we often get see wildlife along the way…deer is frequent but the occasional beaver or moose is much more entertaining!
In 2010, to further my horizons in Real Estate (locally and provincially) and to give back to the local community, I became a Director for the Parry Sound and Area Real Estate Association with a focus on technology and how it affects how we, as Realtors run our business. I have continued my involvement through various committees and roles including President of our Association. I am currently the sitting as Past President and focussed on pushing my Real Estate carreer to the next level.
Born in the Parry Sound area, I spent the majority of my youth in the GTA, returning for family vacations back up in “Cottage Country”. Spending the dog days of summer fishing, hiking & cannon-balling off the dock, I have always had an appreciation for the natural environment so prevalent in the area.
Together with my wife & three kids, I moved back into the Parry Sound area in 2001, choosing the Georgian Bay area for all that it has to offer... the beaches, the trails, the lakes, and the natural wonder of the 30,000 islands. In the end, it was the small town charm that the Parry Sound community is so rich in that made this the place I once again call home. Coming back was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
When not assisting clients, I focus hard on family life…with a wife and three kids “balance in life” is very important. At that, I follow the same credo I learned through my career… Work Hard (and Play Hard), Listen Well & Aim to Exceed Expectations!
I hope to have the opportunity to work with you and your families for many years to come.
Cheers, Chuck.
